伯明翰胡佛拉昆塔溫德姆套房飯店(La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Birmingham Hoover)

A large, noisy fan was running in the hallway the entire stay. The room was worn. Elevator was all banged up. We were told to put the Do Not Disturb sign up and cleaning people would not enter room. We had partially loaded our car and when we retuned to our room the cleaning couple were about to dump soda that we had just purchased from Circle K. They had cleaned off the dresser and desk. They apologized. We had left money on the nightstand and they had taken it. We did not complain because we were going to leave a tip. But this should NOT happened.

The overall atmosphere and quality of the hotel was great! It was conveniently located to all activities we had planned for the weekend. Everyone was friendly and we got a good sleep! If I had to say anything negative it would be that our bathroom did not have an actual door on it. We had a little one so it was hard to keep him out of the bathroom given that the door would not actually shut.

This is the second time my family has stayed at this hotel and while i would stay again I was not blown away with customer service. Pros: the property is clean, well lit at night, the rooms are very spacious (great for energetic children), the continental breakfast was decent, there is a little shop to by snacks in the lobby, wifi was good, and not too far from the Galleria mall. Cons: the double bed rooms are full not queen, found hair in the shower, the paint in the tub was peeling, bathtoom door didn't completely close properly, was told by front staff that they could not give us more towels as they didnt have enough, and facility must now be owned and run by new management because the staff was dressed very casual and seemed somewhat uninterested in customer service to the guest.

We had a block of rooms, Some rooms had uncomfortable small beds with sink holes in the middle of mattresses, some rooms had poor cleaning, one room , AC barely worked. Staff was nice, but just not a great place to stay.

Clean and newly remodeled. Convenient location to the Riverchase area. Quiet and safe location, close to I65 but no noise or congestion. Pretty much the crucial criteria for me when choosing a hotel. Free breakfast was OK but not especially hot; minor issue with all of the other positives.

The staff at this facility was very nice and professional. The facility was clean as well as our room. The guest was louder than anticipated but we were close to an entrance. If I had to stay again, I would prefer to be away from any entrance. Breakfast was great considering it was free. It was well supplied

The property appeared to be new - they were still working on landscaping. Front desk staff was friendly and professional and directed us to a great restaurant close by. Only downside was that the bed was harder than I like, and while there were plenty of pillows, they were hard and flat.

I went to the front desk Saturday night to get information on local churches. I was told they had nothing. I can't believe a motel of this size did not have something. Was very disappointed. Not only that, the young man couldn't speak very good english and really didn't understand what I wanted. Also the drain on the bathroom lavatory was plugged. It was taken care of.

Everything was great except: (1)shower had broken soap dish (2)shower floor grout dirty, needs replaced or thorough cleaning (3) bathroom door sticking at top and would not close properly
